On September 24th
and 26th, 2007 all sworn department employees received
training on Juvenile Procedures and Radar Use.

On October 22nd
and 23rd, 2007all sworn department employees received
training on Civil Liability and Biased Based Profiling.

On November 8th,
12th, and 13th, 2007all sworn department employees
participated in Low-Light Firearms Qualification.

On December 11th,
2007 all sworn department employees received Breathalyzer
Re-certification.

On January 9th
& 11th, 2007 all sworn department employees received training
in Holding Facility Procedures and Bias Based Profiling.

On February 25th
& 28th, 2007all sworn and civilian department employees
received training in RIEAS & Conflict Management. All sworn employees
also received training in Hand Gun Retention.

February, 2007 - all sworn
officers received Firearms Simulator Training.

March, 2007 - all sworn
officers received training in Responding to the Mentally Ill.

April, 2007 - all sworn
officers received semi-annual Firearms Training.

May, 2007 - all sworn
officers received training in Motor Vehicle Stops and Felony Stops by
the Rhode Island Tactical Officers Association.

June, 2007 - all sworn
officers received training in Responding to Active Shooters.

May, 2007 - all sworn
